Recognizing the demand for knowledge and improved skills in caring for
‘Special Children’, the Rotary Club of Melawati is organizing a 1-day
seminar / workshop for those who live with and care for ‘children with
special needs’. The programme is o ffered FREE to primary care-givers
and will address issues on the various psycho-social aspects of caring
for ‘special children’.Will also address issues on Autism & Down
Syndrome.

Who Should Attend: Teachers, Parents, and Primary Care –Givers of
Children with Special Needs, NGOs
Objective: To educate and train care givers on the importance of
psycho-social interaction in the caring of Children with Special Needs
and equip them with techniques and well balanced skills.
Cost: Free of Charge. However, registration will be limited to 100
participants on a “First Come First Served” basis.
Programme will feature interactive forums, concurrent mini-workshops
and open-discussions. Inline with its primary objective is to ‘enable’
participants through sharing, learn and experience di erent
considerations and techniques in the caring of ‘special children’. The
programme will provide an opportunity for expert-guided exploration
and discussion with regard to various issues in managing and growing
with children with special needs – working towards renewed enthusiasm
and a refreshed approach.

Down’s Syndrome)
